Tool & Jig Making

Production tooling for accurate efficient processes

There a numerous ways in which to manufacture production tooling, as is the choice in materials that can be used - it is crucial however to choose the correct format. Several key factors are taken into consideration - volume and frequency of runs, surface area and volumetric weight of the tool, evidence of thin wall sections. Durability, accuracy and lifespan of tool also dictate the material and method to be used. These are all points that are addressed in deciding the most suitable and also most cost effective route forward.
  • CAD / CAM - Aluminium tools CNC machined form solid billet or toolingboard by taking data directly form the 3D model design. This method is used extensively in this market due to the dimensional and design accuracy
  • Aluminium castings
  • Epoxy resin Tooling
  • GRP Tooling

We work closely with you to ensure any technical issues are resolved prior to the manufacture of product, thus ensuring a smooth transition from concept to prototype, pre-production to production.

Trim & Assembly Jigs

Similarly to the patterns and tooling - drill jigs, CNC fixtures and assembly jigs are manufactured specifically for our machines and is done so on site, ensuring both accuracy and speed of production, to better meet time schedules.

All tooling and jigging is stored and maintained on site.
